Seasonal Property Maintenance Mechanic - Facilities

Education:

High School Diploma or Equivalent Preferred.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
Responsible for maintenance and repair of all facility mechanical systems in a timely manner.  Will follow all safety procedures and regulations, and will ensure compliance with all federal, state and local laws and OSHA regulations.  Promotes outstanding customer relations.  Promotes honesty and trust amongst the team.  Performs all other duties as assigned.

 JOB REQUIREMENTS:
Minimum of Three (3) years in mechanical environment.  Combination of school and work experience acceptable.  Must have experience operating maintenance vehicles.  Must have working knowledge of HVAC, carpentry, electrical and plumbing maintenance.  Must have a valid driver’s license and must meet the requirements of company Motor Vehicle Record Policy.  Must be able to lift Fifty (50) pounds and work in all weather, including extreme conditions.  Must be able and willing to climb ladders and scaffolding.  Ability to read, write, speak, understand or communicate in English sufficiently to perform the necessary functions of this position.   Ability to consistently comprehend, retain and execute written, verbal and demonstrated directions, explanations and guidance.  Ability to work in a fast paced environment and effectively communicate with guests, co-workers and management.  Must be able to walk, sit, kneel, and stand for extended periods of time without difficulty.  Must be able to work a flexible schedule based on business needs which includes days, evenings, weekends and holidays.  Must be able to obtain and keep Licenses issued by the Maryland Racing Commission and the Maryland State Lottery Agency required of all Gaming Establishment employees.
