Executive Chef

John Demajistre 

John Demajistre: Native to Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, John has spent many years in the culinary field. He has worked as a line cook in multiple hotels, managed kitchens in Chadds Ford, Pennsylvania and Ocean View, Delaware. He joined the Ocean Downs team in 2011 as a Sous Chef, and assumed the position of Head Chef in 2016. He is a proud winner of the Ocean City Crab Soup Cook Off in 2017, and has many hobbies including golf and tournament Texas Hold‘em Poker.
